Bilatris is a Belsysgroup’s subsidiary recently opened in Riga, Latvia, specializing in transshipment of harbor freight, freight quote calculation, transit through Latvia, freight forwarding via rail and trucking services in the Baltic region.
One of the most important sea corridors connecting Russia, Middle Asia and China with the countries of West and North Europe goes through the Baltic Sea. This sea way is the most advantageous regarding delivery time and financial costs in comparison with the other possible routes. Latvia, located at the coast of the Baltic Sea, takes the first place in transit trade among other Baltic countries. Daily thousands of tons of cargoes arrived to the harbor of Riga from Russia and Asia and reloaded to ships; harbor freights conveyed by sea are transshipped to trucks and freight train wagons. More than 90 % of all cargo containers, transported through Latvia, are loaded and unloaded with the help of harbor freight tools ensuring safety and integrity of goods and reducing the damage risks to zero.
